Are your agreements eligible?

Balance Transfers

If an agreement was signed for prior to April 2007 and you have since actioned a balance transfer, you will need to check the date that this occurred. If the balance transfer was after April 2007 the agreement will be ineligible for review. We can only review agreements that were signed-for prior to April 2007.

Joint Accounts

It is very rare that credit cards are issued in joint names. Usual practice for creditors is to lend to one applicant and approve additional card holders. Make sure you check who actually signed the agreement as we can only undergo reviews for the main applicant.

Store Cards

Store cards eligible for review are the types that can be used in multiple outlets.

"Together" Mortgages

We are able to review the unsecured element of "together" mortgages.

HP Agreements

Only standard hire purchase agreements are eligible for review. We cannot review lease or PCP arrangements.

Student Loans

Traditional student loans arranged through "The Student Loan Company" are not eligible for review. However standard unsecured/personal bank loans taken out whilst you were a student are eligible (provided they were signed-for prior to April 2007).

Loan Amounts

If signed for prior to April 2007, only loans under £25,000 are regulated under the Consumer Credit Act. However, a credit card may have had its floor limit increased over time to over £25,000 – these agreements are eligible for review.
